These clinics are available to suit our patients' requirements and are not set out on specific days. If you would like to attend, for any of the above clinics, please telephone 0208 854 0157 / 0229 and book an appointment with reception.
Antenatal Clinics
These clinics are held at Escreet Grove on Monday mornings and at Plumstead Common on Thursday mornings. Please book your appointment in advance with reception.
Baby Clinics
For eight week checks and first immunisations pre-bookable appointments are available with the doctor. Subsequent immunisations are with the practice nurse on Tuesdays between 1.30 and 3.00pm, on a first come first seen basis, at both surgeries.
All other problems eg, feeding, sleeping and child health worries can be discussed with the health visitor. The health visitors are based at The Brookhill Children's Centre, Woolwich.
Flu Vaccination
An influenza vaccine is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes.
Please contact the reception staff in September for details of the vaccination dates and to make an appointment. If you are unable to attend the surgery a home visit will be arranged to undertake this facility.
Minor Surgery
This clinic is held approximately every four - six weeks. Referrals to the clinic must be made by your GP.
Non-NHS Examinations
The doctors are happy to carry out medicals eg insurance, driving licence etc, by appointment. Please telephone the surgery for an appointment. Ask at reception for the charges for these services.
Travel Clinics
Travel immunisation and travel advice is available each day; please book an appointment to see the nurse. Certain vaccinations are not available on the NHS; please check for any charges when you book an appointment.
Yellow Fever
Yellow Fever immunisations is only available at Escreet Grove Surgery. Please book an appointment at reception. There is a charge for this vaccine; for details ask at reception when making your appointment.
Wart and Verruca Clinic
This clinic is held every two weeks at Escreet Grove Surgery on a Friday afternoon; you will need to see a doctor first to be referred to this clinic.
